Cooper A Not a bad movie at all. The reason the review is lower than that of the content is because this movie was a follow up to one of the top 5 greatest movies to date. (That movie being Toy Story.) Still worth your time and definitely a very underrated film. With each movie Pixar released they up the game in animation and this one is an improvement over Toy Story. In typical Pixar fashion this movie is also well written, though the plot is simplified here for a younger audience than the usual Pixar fare. There are a lot of “gag scenes” that are inserted during the movie. While humorous, they do not add anything to the story and feel like distractions instead of part of the movie. The characters are likable and well voice acted, but the standout is Kevin Spacey as the villain, Hopper. This is the first Pixar movie to feature “outtakes” during the closing credits and they are worth your time to stick around. Overall I think this movie is worth a watch.
